ORDERING A HANDPAN

Handpans are made to individual order. The production time, depending on my availability and the number of notes on the instrument, is at least 2 weeks. After receiving the order, I provide a quote and request a 10% deposit.
The instrument can be delivered personally within the Warsaw area or sent by courier in a well-secured package, with insured shipping and package tracking.
The basic version of the instrument includes 9 notes. I can add extra notes, both on the top and bottom shells, but each additional note comes with an extra charge.
The purchased instrument comes with a two-year warranty, during which I can re-tune it. The warranty does not cover detuning due to improper use of the handpan.
When ordering the instrument, the buyer selects the material from which the handpan will be made and the scale.
MATERIAL
There are two materials – stainless steel (of the so-called ember type) and nitrided steel. Both protect equally well against rust, but they differ in terms of sound and color.
Stainless steel resonates more, produces a "brighter" sound, and takes on copper-gold-brown hues. Example:
Nitrided steel resonates less, has a more "dreamy" sound, and a dark gray color. Example:
On order, for an additional fee, I can create a design on the top of the instrument, in this style (design to be determined):
SCALE
The scale in which the handpan will be made is largely a matter of personal preference, a sense of what resonates with you the most. You can find help in your search through recordings available on the Internet, including on my YouTube channel (LINK)), as well as the Handpaner simulator LINK, where you can test different scales.

1350 EUR for for a 9-note instrument in the scale from A#2 to F#3.

MAINTENANCE AND TUNING
Once a month, the handpan should be wiped with a paper towel soaked in a few drops of handpan maintenance oil, such as Phoenix Oil, to protect it from color loss and corrosion.
Like any instrument, the handpan may slightly detune, depending on the intensity of playing, after one, two, or more years. After the one-year warranty period, I offer a tuning service for the instrument, priced at 100-120 EUR, depending on the number of notes and the degree of detuning.
The color of each handpan is the result of a natural patina that forms during the process of heating the metal in an oven. Each handpan is handcrafted, and the patination process can create subtle variations in color and slight discolorations. These have no impact on the instrument’s sound but rather enhance its unique character. This makes every handpan truly one of a kind.
